Bullroarers and churinga are male ceremonial objects that are regarded in Australia Aboriginal communities as secret-sacred. The Sainsbury Centre does not display or share images of the bullroarers and churinga boards in the collection. However, access will be allowed for study and research purposes. Access will not be restricted but all researchers will be informed about the sensitive nature of the material prior to access being granted.
