New Perspectives: Episode 06 with Philippa Snow

Episode 06 with Philippa Snow

To coincide with the publication of her book: ‘Which as you know means violence: on self-injury as art and entertainment’, writer Philippa Snow joins us in the gallery to discuss the painting Two Figures in a Room by the artist Francis Bacon. In this podcast, Philippa looks at the complex relationship between sadomasochistic sex and the act of painting.

Please be aware that this podcast contains strong language, violence, and sexual content.
