Studio workshop with Sara Farrag-Kramer from Kano Jewellery

Create your own bronze amulet with artist-jeweller Sara Farrag-Kramer. In this special studio workshop, Sara will guide you through the process of designing and moulding a contemporary amulet informed by the Egyptian pieces in the Sainsbury Centre collection. After the workshop, the amulets will be cast in bronze and finished, ready for you to collect from the Sainsbury Centre.

About the artist:
Sara Farrag-Kramer creates handmade pieces of jewellery that are contemporary in style but carry with them inspiration from many sources; the ancient works of classical and non-classical cultures and the natural organic shapes that can be found in rocks, landscapes and earthworks.
