Explore the Sainsbury Centre this February half term
17 February - 25 February 2024Looking for things to do this February half term? We have got you covered, with something for all ages.
Why not get out in the fresh air and explore our Sculpture Park. Set within the 350 acres of parkland featuring outstanding art, architecture and natural beauty, the Park is open daily.
Families can download our Sculpture Park Pocket Map, which includes fun activities for all ages, or visit our Online Studio to find free resources which can be downloaded and used whilst visiting.
Collect a children’s activity basket for free at reception which include binoculars for the eagle-eyed minds; or enjoy two immersive audio experiences on the Smartify app where you can discover new ways to meet the living art in our collection.
You can also use the Smartify app to scan our objects to find out more about objects in our Living Area.
Get immersed in our East End display where you can become an artwork in a museum case, experience art in new settings and create works of art.
Explore two brand new exhibitions which explore What Is Truth? in our lower galleries: In Event Of Moon Disaster and Liquid Gender. Plus take a look around our mezzanine floor where Sediment Spirit: The Activation of Art in the Anthropocene is showing.
We know half term can be a pull on the purse strings, but our Universal Ticket works on a ‘Pay If and What You Can’ basis and gives access across the permanent collection, lower and mezzanine galleries and sculpture park.
Enjoy stunning views of the surrounding greenery while you savour your coffee and cake at the Terrace Cafe or have a satisfy lunch break at Modern Life Cafe.
Parking is free.
